About Open Credits
Open Credits shows how games were made, AI included, and what players think of them. We aren't for or against AI in games. We think players deserve to know, and good games deserve to be found.
What we do
We credit what AI did in each game, part by part: art, audio, writing, code, what happens while you play, and the store page. Every credit links to its source, usually the developer's own disclosure.
We score games from their player reviews, leaving out the ones that are only about whether AI was used. The games players rate highest make the cut.
Players decide
Our scores come from what players say about the games themselves. We don't rate games ourselves, and money can't buy a place in the cut. How it works, step by step, is on How we pick.
For developers
Soon, developers will be able to claim their game's page for free, confirm how they used AI in their own words, and fill in the parts no source covers yet.
How we're funded
Open Credits is free to use. Later, developers and publishers will be able to promote their games in a Sponsored slot, always labeled as such.
